THIS CHAMBER IS #1 ON TRIPADVISOR

The mystery of L’Architecte is located in the cellars of the Arminiuskerk, located at the start of the WittedeWithstraat in Rotterdam. Your group has 60 minutes to escape. Only 40% of the players escape from this room. Your host takes you through the history of the room and shows you the newly discovered room. After this, you have 60 minutes to solve the mystery of L’Architecte.

Note that this room was developed in collaboration with Sherlocked. If you have played the room in Amsterdam, we recommend our other mystery La Residence.

THE STORY BEHIND L'ARCHITECTE

‘Architecture has always fascinated me. Through all my wanderings around the world, I have learned that all buildings tell their own story’ – Dr Watson.
During work in the basement of the Arminius Church, a secret room was discovered. We suspect that this room was the secret office of the church’s architect, Henri Evers. Various symbols in the room suggest that Mr Evers was a member of an illustrious brotherhood. After many attempts to decipher the secrets, the investigation came to a dead end. We have decided to open the room to the outside world!
The room appears to have been unoccupied since 1895. The furnishings are exactly the same as they were back then. It seems that Monsieur Henry Evers, the architect, used the room as a study. But something else must have happened there. While the clock in the background ticks, you and your team must investigate the smallest details and solve the mystery.
